The fictional characters of the book, Cha-Cha and ZEE, are two inquisitive penguins living at the National Zoo in Washington D.C. One day, they decide to leave the zoo to tour the nation's capital. As Cha-Cha and ZEE embark upon their journey, the two provide a wealth of information about the city. The Mall, Lincoln's monument, the White House, and other fixtures of Americana will become familiar to children as they explore alongside Cha-Cha and ZEE.

Available with the book is Cha-Cha & ZEE's Activity Book, plus the reader's very own Tour Guide featuring a map with historical landmarks.
